Most of our career management programs begin with a three part Career Self Assessment and Planning process, designed to provide both you and your career consultant with an understanding of the past and present in your terms, as well as a future vision. This will form the foundation for your strategy and our career management training will include development of a marketing campaign and action plan to achieve your agreed outcome.

Career Self Assessment
You will spend time privately reviewing each important aspect of your career to date; in particular, what drove your career choices, the highs and lows of your career, what gave you job satisfaction, your career aspirations and expectations. Our comprehensive career self assessment looks at values, functional and adaptive skills, barriers, developmental needs and interests.
Career Review and Planning
With your career consultant, you will spend several hours analysing the results of your career self-assessment exercise in order to understand “you” more fully. This is used in conjunction with our career management training tool, the Career Satisfaction Matrix, to help determine the many options available to fulfill your career, personal goals and aspirations. With your career consultant, you will develop a plan or personal specification that takes into account the current, mid and long term strategy.
Psychometric Testing: You can undertake a personal inventory that will help you understand how you like to take in information or look at things, how you like to make decisions, use your time and in general organise yourself.
Career Achievements
Once you have agreed the plan, we focus on your achievements relative to the plan. This phase of the career management program will ensure your written and verbal communication supports the direction(s) you have chosen and will start the marketing process.
Resume and Covering Letter
A draft resume will be prepared that reflects these career achievements and supports the career objective. Cover letters and T-Bar letters will be designed for advertised jobs and strategic marketing communications.
Selection Criteria Advisory Service: This is available to those applying for a position within the public service (State or Federal Government). As part of the selection process we assist you in the vital exercise of addressing the specified Selection Criteria.
Self Marketing
Our career management training will support you to clearly articulate your value proposition effectively. Our role is to ensure you do it better than your competitors. A great deal of importance is placed on your communication skills, as it is now a marketing and sales project. Your profile for social media will also be reviewed.
Networking
We will assist you to engage in strategic communication with the appropriate audience in the right industries and companies in the right geographical areas to suit you.
Access to Hidden Job Market: We place a strong emphasis on assisting you to access the "hidden job market", which accounts for around 84% of all professional and management level positions according to well publicised statistics. We will enhance our career management training by working closely with you to develop a structured and targeted approach to the hidden job market; and will help you develop the confidence to implement your sophisticated marketing and networking strategy. Social media networking strategies also comteplated in the module.
Interviews
Video training is normally available to clients. Your interview performance is choreographed and recorded for review until you are completely happy with the result. Your career consultant will cover training for behavioural as well as technical styled interview methods.
Follow Up
Post transition support: We offer the most generous post-transition support arrangements to clients in the global career management market.
Salary Negotiation
On the success of your career management program, your career consultant will assist you in reviewing the contracts and letters of offer or appointment that you receive. They may also conduct referee checks and briefings to ensure suitability and alignment with the marketing plan.
You will be provided with an understanding of how to manage salary requirement questions and we will assist you in developing effective negotiating techniques to increase your chances of getting what you deserve.
