Frank had successfully developed his business as a franchised vendor in a service industry but an FMCG environment and thoroughly enjoyed his new role. He built up his franchise and greatly increased the turnover in a market that was declining because of the dominance of the major food retailers and a fast changing retail environment for manufacturers.
The franchise was dissolved when the franchiser, a manufacturer, was acquired by another public company, a major competitor. Frank really wanted to continue working in a similar role; however, equivalent opportunities to become a franchisee were not available to him. He had no formal qualifications and prior experience was as a mechanic. Marketing and business development had been gained through experience and intuition.
Frank came to CFS Career Management to help him manage his career transition and secure a position in alignment with his aspirations.
Using CFS Career Management strategic marketing approach and networking assistance and using their tried and tested tactics, Frank was successful in gaining a position consistent with his career objective, he was employed by a major company as a Business Manager in the Food Distribution and Retail industry, where he has remained happily employed.
